Kade Library Uploader — version 1.4

GET STARTED
1. Open this program. No Python or installation is needed.
2. Sign in with YOUR account at kademurdock.com. Use Open website to create an account or reset your password.
3. Choose Donate for review or Keep private, then Add files or Add folder. You can also drop files onto the upload list.
4. Select an item and choose Edit details to change its title, category, folder, or destination. Folder imports keep their folder structure beneath Books, Audio, or Videos.
5. Choose Start / resume. Keep the program open until the queue finishes.

DONATIONS AND PRIVACY
Donations from ordinary accounts stay private until the librarian reviews them. Administrator accounts can publish directly. Only submit material you are allowed to share.
Keep private uploads go to your own library. Your library shows only your account's files, including your public donations. Select a file there to edit its details, offer it for review, or make it private.
This program never deletes or moves your computer's files. Removing a queue entry only removes it from this app. It does not withdraw an uploaded file.

FILES
Video: MP4, M4V, MOV, WebM. Audio: MP3, M4A, M4B, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, Opus.
Books: MP3/M4B audiobook ZIP, DAISY ZIP (audio or text), unpacked DAISY folders, EPUB, TXT, DOCX, HTML. ZIP files must contain supported book audio or text, not a miscellaneous archive.
For unpacked DAISY books, choose Add folder and select the SD-card folder containing all the books, or select one book folder. Each recognized DAISY book becomes one queue item, including its text, navigation, pictures, and audio. Review the titles in Edit details before starting. The app prepares one temporary ZIP at a time on this PC; no manual zipping is needed and the original SD-card files stay unchanged. Keep the SD card connected until uploads finish, and leave enough free space on this PC for the largest book. Temporary ZIPs are removed after each attempt; a forced shutdown can leave temporary files in Windows Temp.
Audiobook and DAISY ZIPs: up to 4 GB compressed (8 GB expanded, 4 GB per recording). Text books: up to 256 MB. Individual audio/video files: up to 20 GB. Other formats are skipped and reported; this app does not convert them.
Audiobook ZIPs and DAISY audio are placed under Audio/Audiobooks. Videos go under Videos; text books under Books. Commercials in imported commercial folders can receive a conservative medication suggestion; always review the details.

PAUSE AND RECOVERY
Pause saves the queue. Large media uploads retain completed parts while their upload links remain valid (roughly two hours). Expired links require restarting the file. Small media files restart their transfer if interrupted.
Books and media upload directly to storage. The app checks fingerprints to recover the same upload after an interrupted response. Book preparation continues on the server after the file arrives; Start / resume checks that same import again.
For older uploads made before version 1.4, Check library means its confirmation may have been lost. Look in Your library first. Only select Retry uncertain book if it is absent, since retrying can create a second copy.
If a file changed, remove that queue entry and add the finished file again. Do not queue files that are still being downloaded or edited.
An access refusal stops the queue instead of repeatedly retrying. Check the website before trying later.

ACCESSIBILITY
Standard Windows list boxes expose every item as a complete text label, including title, kind, folder, and status. The first available row is selected automatically. Your library loads when you open its tab after signing in. Native Windows controls support keyboard navigation and screen readers. Tab moves between controls, arrows select rows, and Enter opens a selected library folder/file. Buttons have Alt-letter shortcuts.
Ctrl+O adds files. Ctrl+Shift+O adds a folder. F1 opens this guide. Progress and errors appear as text alongside the progress bar. No information depends on color, animation, or sound.

YOUR SIGN-IN
Remember me stores an encrypted session for your Windows account; your password is never saved. Queue records are also encrypted and kept in %LOCALAPPDATA%\KadeLibraryUploader, separately for each library account.
Sign out on this PC removes its remembered session. It leaves that account's saved queue for when you sign in again.
Share only the EXE or distribution ZIP with friends. There are no account credentials bundled in it.
This independently built EXE is unsigned. Windows may show an unknown-publisher prompt. Obtain your copy directly from the person you trust to distribute it.
